Over the past several years, fundraising programs have been established by various organizations to benefit schools. All the programs that Immaculate Conception participates in are programs which do not have a cost themselves but allow us to receive a percentage of the profit a company realizes.
The programs are listed below. If you have any questions, please call the school office (215) 887-1312 and we’ll provide further explanations. Your participation is appreciated—every little bit helps us to defray expenses and hold tuition increases to a minimum!
Recycle Rewards: Send in your used inkjet cartridges (in a ziplock bag), laser toner cartridges and your old cell phones. We submit them for recycling and receive $$$ for every cartridge returned and even more for phones. At the same time, we are helping our environment. We also collect non-alcoholic plastic bottles and cans to earn cash for our Veterans and our school through Terra Cycle.
Newspaper/ Paper Collection: You can deliver your newspapers, magazines, office papers and junk mail for recycling, to the big green and yellow recycling dumpster in the parking lot/school yard of Immaculate Conception on Greenwood Avenue. We receive cash each time the dumpster becomes full and is emptied. It is that simple!
Genuardi’s and e-scrip: Visit www.escrip.com to register on-line or sign up at any Genuardi’s store. Our number is 6518840. Genuardi’s and participating merchants will contribute a percentage of your purchase when you use your grocery card, credit card, or debit/ATM card. Your contribution is automatic with whatever card you have registered. You can also get a print out from the website to verify your contributions. Your purchases also count as credit toward our parish scrip program.
K-Mart: Present your School Spirit card every time you make a purchase at Kmart and we receive a cash rebate twice a year based on a portion of your purchases.
Target: If you make a purchase with your Target Credit Card or present your Target Customer Card, inform the cashier that we are a registered school and we receive a cash rebate periodically from Target. We also sell Target gift cards through the Immaculate Conception parish scrip program.
Schoolcash.com: Before you make a purchase on the Internet, go to www.schoolcash.com. Many on-line retail businesses participate in this organization. We are a registered school and purchases will be credited to our account. We receive a percentage of your purchases made on line.
Campbell’s Soup Labels and Box Top$ for Education: Immaculate Conception School collects Campbell’s Soup labels and those pink “Box Top$” from participating manufacturers. These labels and box tops are counted and submitted for cash and educational/recreational items for the students. Please ask your friends and family to send these items to the school office!
Annual Immaculate Conception Parish Fall Social: Our annual benefit is held in the fall of each year. For more information about how you can help make the event successful, click on the appropriate tab.
Scrip Program: You can purchase gift cards for popular stores in our area directly from our rectory or after mass on Sunday’s. By purchasing these cards at Immaculate Conception, the parish receives a percentage of the card’s value. This program is a significant revenue producer in which participating families also receive tuition credit.
