Join our band!
Who: Band includes Junior High, High School and Adult members
Adults are encouraged to join!
A minimum of three years of experience is needed.
Come to rehearsals willing to learn in a RELAXED atmosphere.
What: Participants will enjoy 14 rehearsals, one per week ending in one concert in Jenkintown. Music will include classical, jazz, and pops tunes.
When: Rehearsals are Sunday nights, Feb.21- June 4th from 7-9 PM.
Certain Sundays are not included in the rehearsal schedule

Concert is scheduled for Sun, June 6th, at 3PM. (Location is TBA)
Where: Rehearsals to be held at Immaculate Conception School,
606 West Ave, Jenkintown.
Requirements: Attendance is mandatory for 10 out of the 14 rehearsals
Fee: $150.00 for the Winter/Spring 2010 session (Feb-June)
Music Director Alex Schmauk has conducted the Immaculate Conception School Band for the past 9 years. While there, Alex has helped to create a thriving music community. His goal in creating the Jenkintown Community Concert Band is to bring together a large variety of people who all want to make great music. Alex Schmauk holds a Bachelors degree in Music Education from the Peabody Conservatory of Music and a Masters degree in Trumpet Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music.
